Jennifer witnessed a lot of atrocities during the war in Northern Uganda. Five of her cousins were abducted by rebels and her family was eventually forced out of their home and into government camps where they lived off of handouts from the World Food Program. As a beneficiary for KK Uganda, she is more self-reliant and is able to provide for her family like never before.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

My plan is to build a house for my children. I want­­­­ them to have a quality education, something I did not have.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT NORTHERN UGANDA

The most beautiful thing about Northern Uganda is that the water is clean and, compared to other regions of the country, and there is a variety of food.
