Meet the maker

Lanyero Lilly

Gulu, Uganda Krochet Kids Intl.

Crocheter

Lanyero Lilly was abducted and held captive by rebel forces for eight years during the war in Northern Uganda. Although she was very bright, this time in captivity made education impossible. With the money that she is earning at KK Uganda, Lilly is providing her children with the best education possible so that they can enjoy learning in the same way that she did when she was young.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I dream of owning land and building a home for myself and my children.
