Lanyero Grace

Lanyero Grace spent her life believing that her brother or a husband would be her savior. However, when her brother encouraged her to marry young in order to escape poverty and she was left by both her first and second husbands to care for their six children, Grace realized that only she could change her life. Since becoming a beneficiary for KK Uganda, Grace has been enabled to support her children and send them to school. She believes that the unity she has with the other women at the compound has given her a greater understanding of joy and opportunity and looks forward to a bright future for herself and her family.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

With the many people around me, I feel my sorrows, pain and burden all being reduced and I hope for a very bright future for myself and my children.
