Lamunu Kevin

During the war, most of Lamanu Kevin’s family was killed and she was unable to attend classes, which greatly hindered her education. Although she worked as a tailor, she was generally unable to meet even her most basic needs. Since coming to KK Uganda, Kevin has been able to make enough money to meet her basic needs and also pay for her sister’s children to go to school. She says that crocheting has not only changed her life but has also made her more focused.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I hope to continue to provide for my family with the money I make at KK Uganda and to eventually go back to school because I had to stop when I was very young.
