Lucy and her siblings were left to fend for themselves when both her parents passed away and her grandmother refused to take care of them. When war intensified in Northern Uganda, Lucy and her siblings relocated to a Gulu town suburb where she then eloped with a man who later abandoned her and their children. Not being able to financially support her and her children, she joined the KK Uganda family and is now looking at life with hope.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I want to buy a plot of land for my two children and to educate them to the highest level possible!

WHAT MAKES CROCHETING ENJOYABLE

Crocheting is easier than digging in the garden. I learned new skills in crocheting and that is where I earn my living.
