Laker Florence was once haunted by a mental illness that kept her incapacitated for thirteen years. Today, she is able to support herself and her two children with the money that she has made at KK Uganda. She hopes to give her children the best education possible so that they will succeed in their own lives.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

My future plan is to educate my children to university level, buy a piece of land and build for them a house so that when the Lord calls me someday my children will have some place to stay.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT NORTHERN UGANDA

The best thing about Northern Uganda is the prevailing peace which has enabled families to be reunited and for the Acholi land to be developed.
