Meet the maker

Laker Christine

Gulu, Uganda Krochet Kids Intl.

Crocheter

Since the passing of her fathering 1999, Christine’s family has struggled greatly to get by. Her brother worked to provide income for her family, but was not able to pay for her schooling and she was forced to drop out. The war also affected her family greatly- they relied on agriculture as a source of income, but that opportunity was stripped of them due to the LRA’s control.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I hope to run a business in the future and provide financial support for my family.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

My favorite hobbies are reading novels, playing volleyball, and listening to gospel music.
