Lagum Janet

Meet the maker

Lagum Janet

Gulu, Uganda Krochet Kids Intl.

Crocheter

Janet’s early life was characterized by great difficulty, but despite hardships, she was always able to overcome. Once the war began, Janet and her family were forced to move, but during this time Janet discovered her passion for crochet after learning basic skills. At KNOWN SUPPLY, Janet is overjoyed to learn more advanced crocheting and knitting skills, attend educational classes and, most importantly, earn a salary that allows her to support her family.

LOVE DEFINED

Love is happiness that comes from the heart of a person, and it is that heart that makes a person love one another.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

To work harder, save money, and buy a piece of land in the village for farming. I want to own a land that will be inherited by my children.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

I like teaching children in Sunday school because they make me feel so happy and comfortable.
