Before joining KK Uganda, Lillian worked as an administrative assistant in the church, barely making ends meet. She and her child were forced to stay in other people's homes due to her income being so low. Her participation in KK Uganda means a lot because she is now able to feel like herself and is independent. Her dream is to become a self-reliant woman who loves her family to the best of her ability.

LOVE DEFINED

To me love is all about sharing and doing good things to people.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT NORTHERN UGANDA

My favorite part of Northern Uganda is Gulu because the people are hospitable and that is why I have stayed with them peacefully since 2006.

I thank them for buying my hats and encourage them to continue buying and expand the market so that more vulnerable women are brought on board and their lives are changed through crocheting as well.
