During Alice's childhood she experienced a lot of tragic events within her family that left her alone to raise herself. She had a sponsor who helped sustain her and her husband at the time and their two children. Despite these hardships, Alice is one of our most joyful ladies and says that she looks forward to spending time with her friends at the compound each day. Not only has she been enabled to lift herself out of poverty, Alice has been given a new family and lease on life thanks to the work of KK Uganda and the other women in the program.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I hope to buy land and build a home for my family and also to help my brother who is uneducated and struggles much like I did before coming here.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

My favorite activities are drama, dance and music.
