After leaving an unhealthy marriage, Betty came to Gulu in search of a better life for her and her children. Through working at KNOWN SUPPLY, Betty has been able to buy household and food items, and has begun to save a portion of her income so that she can eventually start her own business and invest in her children’s education.

DREAM FOR FUTURE

My future plan is to save money so that when my contract expires, I can establish an IGA (small business) to earn a living from.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT NORTHERN UGANDA

The most wonderful thing about Northern Uganda nowadays is the rights of people including the freedom of choice that have been reinforced by the authorities.

WHAT MAKES CROCHETING ENJOYABLE

I love crocheting because it keeps me busy and away from my worries. Crocheting also earned me an income to support my family.

LOVE DEFINED
