As a child, Akullu Florence was forced to stop attending school because she lacked consistent transportation to and from her school. Her lack of education left her with little options, leading her to marry at the age of sixteen. Once the war hit, Florence and her family faced many hardships due to lack of resources. Today, she is saving money to provide for a better life than she had for her children.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

Cooking has been my favorite and even when I was growing I would be left at home to cook while others went to the garden.

LOVE DEFINED

Love is sharing what you have with one another .

DREAM FOR THE FUTURE

To pay for my children’s school and save to buy a piece of land for my family.
