Akech Sunday

Gulu, Uganda Krochet Kids Intl.

Crocheter

Akech Sunday is no stranger to entrepreneurism. As a young woman she attempted to support herself through school by brewing beer, but was unable to market herself well enough to succeed. At KK Uganda, Sunday is earning the finances and financial wisdom that she needs to make her next endeavor succeed. She hopes to start her own business before her time in the program ends so that she can support her children and her younger sister.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I dream of starting my own business and sending my own children and my young sister to school through university level.

WHAT MAKES CROCHETING ENJOYABLE

Crocheting helps me focus on the good things and forget about my worries and fears.
