Adong Jackline

Adong Jackline was raised by her mother who cared for her and her eight siblings. She lost many members of her family during the war and was captured for a short period of time. Working for KK Uganda has allowed her to send her children to school and to meet her family’s basic needs. Above all, Jackline is grateful for the opportunities that this program allows as she had tried working for little pay at other jobs and is now doing work she enjoys and making a fair salary for it.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

My future dream is to save money so that I can do another business which will enable me to earn more money so that I can buy a plot of land for my family to build on.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

I enjoy working in the garden and love that Northern Uganda has such fertile soils that make crop production easy. During my childhood I would work with the other children in the gardens.

MESSAGE TO KK intl.

My message to KK intl. is that they should continue to assist the women of Uganda. We greatly appreciate all the founders and initiators of the KK intl. program.
