Adelaida Mato Tolentino

Adelaida (or, Adele as her friends call her) was forced to drop out of middle school to take care of her little sister. Both her mother and father had to work, so she stepped up to help her family. Adele easily has one of the most contagious smiles of our group in Peru and is a great joy to be around. She is happy that she now has a job that allows her to meet her family’s needs.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

My dream is to build a home where I can spend lots of time with my family. I would like to study both education and nursing in the future.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

I love the countryside, being in nature, and playing volleyball. I also love spending days at the beach.

The most beautiful thing about Peru is Macchu Pichu. And the beaches!
