Josephine’s parents separated at a young age which led to her dropping out of school in order to help support her family financially. Before joining the KNOWN SUPPLY family, her only source of income came from selling maize on the side of the road; but now, through the income she saves from the program, she is able to acquire more than three times her original income and can now pay for her son's schooling.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I plan to start up a bigger business and also raise animals since I now have a piece of land.

WHAT MAKES CROCHETING ENJOYABLE

Crocheting has enabled me to forget my problems. It has also provided me with a great opportunity that I have not dreamt of and my life will never remain the same again.
